Established Artists Track

For artists ready to go deeper with autonomy

You’ve been in the field for 5+ years. You’ve developed a practice, built a body of work, navigated production realities. Now you want protected time to pursue questions that commercial contexts won’t fund—with world-class resources and without the pressure of immediate outcomes.

What You Get

  • Duration: 8 months standard; may extend to 10 months (May 2026 – March 2027)
  • Onboarding: 1 month intensive
  • Stipend: Artist fee for the residency period
  • Artist Fee: €26,000 (same total whether 8 or 10 months)
  • R&D Budget: €15,000 (lump sum for materials, equipment, travel, and other production needs not covered by consortium)
  • Flexibility: Greater autonomy in time allocation and trajectory

Time Commitment

The residency averages approximately 2–2.5 days per week, but varies throughout:

  • Intensive periods (Onboarding, Sprints, Public Activations): May require 3 days/week or occasionally more
  • Development periods: Moderate pace between sprints
  • Low-intensity periods (Summer Incubator, holidays): Substantially reduced formal workload

If you extend to 10 months, the same total fee applies but weekly workload is proportionately reduced—accommodating artists with concurrent professional commitments.

Programme Rhythm

Month 1: Onboarding & Orientation

Meet your support team. Tour consortium facilities. Establish your research framework. Connect with the Emerging cohort.

Months 2–8: Self-Directed Research with Milestones

Navigate your own trajectory with regular touchpoints. Book facilities as needed. Three sprint periods overlap with the Emerging cohort—opportunities for cross-pollination and peer learning.

Summer Incubator (July–August)

A low-intensity period for reflection, informal development, and rest. Minimal formal obligations.

Months 9–10: Major Public Activation

Present substantial work-in-progress at a consortium venue. Engage audiences and the field in dialogue. Document insights for the wider ecosystem.

Your Support Team

Producer, Dramaturg, Mentor, and Documentalist. Access to student collaborators and research partnerships as needed. International advisory network for distribution pathways and future opportunities.
